Fire & Gas Card Based Modular DesignModular system offering the widest range of control cards for use in an integrated fire and/or gas detection system. Depending on how it is configured, a Zero Two Series system can monitor any combination of the following: combustible gas, H2S, toxic gas, oxygen deficiency and flame detection. In addition, its open architecture allows the system to accommodate other sensing devices for tasks such as smoke detection, heat detection and manual call points. The Zero Two Series chassis is available for 4, 8 or 16 Zero Two modules and one FM002A facilities module. The RK002 may be rack or panel mounted, the latter being supplied with a bezel. There is a bus on the Chassis which allows all the Zero Two Modules to be connected to the Facilities Module via common bused features.

The system’s modular design allows for easy reconfiguration or expansion as sensing requirements evolve. Different types can replace existing modules and add new ones to open slots. The system can also be expanded by integrating 4, 8, or 16-channel chassis, with the option of including a facilities module in each chassis. The facilities module offers convenient features like a master reset switch, an accept/acknowledge switch, an LED test function, and standard alarm and fault outputs.
Installing Zero Two Series systems is remarkably straightforward. The only field connections required are inputs from the sensors to the card modules and outputs from the control/shutdown system, DCS, PLC, beacons, horns, and other devices.
